Horror Novels: What Scares You?

"If we’re talking horror then I must talk about R.L. Stine. He is my most favorite author. I absolutely adore his fear street series, especially The Fear Stree Saga. I’ve been reading these books since I was a teenager and I still love them. Fear Street is a fictitious place, there are stories that most of the houses on this street are all haunted or they’ve brutal stories to tell. In Fear Street series there are no real monsters though, people turn out to be the real culprits. Although, in its spin-off series we deal with ghosts and curses. One of the books that I’ve read many times is Haunted (Fear Street #7). Anyhow, these books are thrilling but not really that scary. 99 Fear Street: The House of Evil trilogy was really scary though.

As far as recently published horror novels go, these are on my TBR;

  1. The Cabinet at the End of the World By Paul Tremblay
  2. Frankenstein in Baghdad By Ahmed Saadawi
  3. Into the Drowning Deep By Mira Grant
  4. The Forgotten Child By Melissa Erin Jackson
  5. My Pet Serial Killer By Michael J. Seidlinger

So, what are your favorite October reads? I’d love to hear about them."
